This Cookie Notice explains how Snap Credit, Inc. d/b/a Credit Key (“Credit Key,” “we,” or “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on www.creditkey.com and related subdomains or portals that link to this notice. It supplements our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information more broadly.

Credit Key is not a bank. Business loans and lines of credit issued by Lead Bank are also subject to Lead Bank’s separate privacy policy.

What are cookies and similar technologies?

Cookies are small files stored by your browser that can recognize a device or remember information between visits. We and our service providers may also use pixels, tags, scripts, local storage, and similar technologies. Some work only during a browsing session; others remain until they expire or are deleted. They may be set by Credit Key or by service providers whose tools appear on our site.

Why we use them

Essential and security

Operating the site, authenticating users, maintaining sessions, helping prevent fraud, remembering your cookie choice, and running the Credit Key support chat. These are always active; blocking them may limit site features.

Analytics and performance

Understanding visits and interactions so we can find problems and improve the site. Google Analytics 4 and PostHog run in this category. It is on by default, and you can turn it off at any time.

Advertising and measurement

Measuring marketing performance and, with advertising partners, providing or assessing interest-based advertising. This is off until you turn it on.

Information collected

Depending on the technology, we or our providers may receive information such as your IP address, browser and device details, approximate location, referring page, pages visited, time spent, clicks or other interactions, and identifiers associated with a browser or account. Our analytics tools receive page paths only; query strings, hashes, and form field values are removed before an event is sent. We may combine information collected automatically with other information we hold, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Your cookie and advertising choices

• Browser controls. You can block, delete, or receive alerts about cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent some site features from working.
• Opt-out preference signals. When your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, advertising technologies stay off and that category cannot be enabled on this site.
• Google Analytics. Google offers a browser opt-out add-on.
• Interest-based advertising. You may use the opt-out tools offered by the Digital Advertising Alliance and Network Advertising Initiative, or manage preferences with an advertising platform directly.
• Other privacy requests. See our Privacy Policy for applicable privacy rights and how to make a request.

Opting out of interest-based advertising does not necessarily stop all advertisements; you may still see ads that are not tailored to your browsing activity.

Third-party sites and partners

Some site features are provided by third parties, and links from Credit Key may take you to another website. Those parties may have their own privacy and cookie practices, so review their notices when you use their services.
