Information We Collect
We focus exclusively on business-to-business transactions. As such, the Customers of our Merchants are normally businesses, and so the data we process is mostly that of companies rather than individuals. Some notable exceptions are when we process information regarding:
- sole proprietors, who trade as an individual rather than as a company;
- the details of individual employees at Merchants, Customers or our distribution partners;
- individuals associated with these companies such as directors, officers and significant shareholders.
We collect both Personal Information and Non-Personal Information from you.
“Personal Information” means any information about an identifiable individual or that identifies or can be used to identify a natural person, including, but not limited to, first and last name, phone number, email address, online identifiers, IP address, billing information, information concerning households, devices etc.
“Non-Personal Information”, means non-identifiable aggregated data, such as technical data transmitted by the user’s device and aggregated use of the website. This data is not used to identify individuals.
We may collect the following information from you:
- Contact information such as your name, business name, email address, mailing address, and phone number;
- Financial information such as bank statements, credit card statements, your average bank balance, personal and business (if applicable) credit history, payment behavior, bank account information, and tax ID number;
- Transaction history which Users share with us, including historical sales and the details of future sales which they would like us to finance, as well as transaction value, issue date, due date, paid date etc.
- Details of the purchase to be financed or insured, including the items being purchased, the shipping address, and the shipping or tracking number;
- Name, address, date of birth and identity documents of the beneficial owners and directors or the individuals exercising significant control over the User;
- Information about your financial solvency;
- Any non-payment history of the User, including the status of any debt collection;
- Information about the device used by Users to undertake or confirm a transaction, such as the IP address, language and browser settings, operating system etc. as well as information about the User’s use of our website;
- Social security number;
- Unique identifiers such as user name and password, and IP address;
- Business information including company size, and business type (if applicable).
In addition to collecting information via our Website, we may also conduct a site visit to collect information, and obtain information and external data used by lenders to process applications and complete and manage transactions, e.g., from credit reporting agencies and other vendors, as well as from social media. Once you are a Credit Key customer, we may reach out to you for, or otherwise obtain, information if you decide to renew your loan or as otherwise needed to provide the Service.
